Tennessee baseball vs. Auburn Tigers: Live score, updates – Knoxville News Sentinel

Tennessee baseball is trying to score another SEC series win.
No. 1 Tennessee (39-4, 18-2 SEC) hosts No. 21 Auburn (31-13, 12-8) in the weekend series finale on Sunday (1 p.m. ET, SEC Network+).
The Vols won the opener 17-4 on Friday with 15 runs in the seventh and eighth innings. UT blew a ninth-inning lead Saturday when Redmond Walsh gave up four runs after UT led 5-4 entering the inning.
The Vols have won all six SEC series this season. UT has five sweeps, including last weekend’s at Florida

“It’s a well-balanced team,” Vols coach Tony Vitello said Thursday. “I would comp it to Alabama. I know they’re from the same state, and maybe they don’t like each other, but they’re coming off a hot streak like Alabama was when they came in here. Very well-balanced. Coaches that took over, you know, kind of around the time that we did, and now they’ve got things rolling. So it’ll be just as much of a battle as that weekend was.”
Auburn has won seven straight games, including a sweep against South Carolina last weekend.
