One more show of support for Cuba in Vietnam – Prensa Latina

Tran Thi Phuong, vice-president of the entity, arrived at the Cuban Embassy in this capital together with the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, to deliver a donation of 3,800 euros to the head of the diplomatic mission, Orlando Hernández Guillén.
Thi Phuong also conveyed to the Cuban representative his deepest condolences for the fatalities caused by the devastating fire that occurred earlier this month at the supertanker base in Matanzas province, as well as for the extensive material damage caused by the incident.
Hernández Guillén thanked the gesture full of solidarity and love of these two organizations, which was preceded in previous days by similar actions of the Truong Son-Ho Chi Minh Association, of war veterans; the Vietnamese Students Club Graduates in Cuba and the Union of Vietnam Friendship Organizations (VUFO).
In his meeting with the Troung Son ex-combatants, the ambassador stressed that Cuba has once again noted that in the most difficult times we always has the people, the Government and the Communist Party of Vietnam by its side.
