How to grow pumpkins in Minecraft –

Want to make a pumpkin mask or spawn an Iron Golem? Check out this guide on how to grow pumpkins in Minecraft.
Pumpkins are abundant in Minecraft and are quite useful for decoration and crafting. If you want to have a decent supply of pumpkins, here’s a guide on how to grow pumpkins in Minecraft.

Even though pumpkins might seem unimportant in Minecraft, they have a wide range of uses. You can make food items like pumpkin pie, navigation tools like Jack-o-Lanterns, and spawn Iron Golems with them.
Pumpkins are abundantly found in the Overworld but it is always better to grow your own items than to wander around searching for them. Luckily, growing pumpkins in Minecraft is as easy as it gets, and here’s how to do it.
You need a hoe, pumpkin seeds, and a water bucket to grow pumpkins in Minecraft. To obtain seeds, you first need to get some pumpkins from the Overworld.
Pumpkins in Minecraft naturally spawn over grass, coarse dirt, farmland, or dirt blocks with air above implying that there should be no obstructions like grass or flowers above the seeds. It is hard to find the fruit in biomes with sand and rocks, and it is best to search for them in taiga and snowy taiga biomes.
After collecting the desired amount of pumpkins, just add them to any block of the crafting table and they’ll turn into pumpkin seeds.
To get a bucket, check out this detailed guide on how to make a bucket in Minecraft.
You can make a simple hoe in Minecraft with sticks and a material like wood, cobblestone, and diamond. Place two wooden planks/cobblestone/gold ingots/iron ingots on the first row of the crafting grid and fill the remaining slots in the middle column with two sticks.
The crafting recipe for a stone hoe has been showcased in this image:
To make a different type of hoe, just replace the two cobblestone blocks with wooden planks, diamond, gold ingots, or iron ingots.
Hoes basically help in tilling the land where you want to grow your pumpkins.
To plant pumpkin seeds in Minecraft, you first need to till the desired area with a hoe. Then, dig a hole in the farming region and fill it with water. You can collect water from a nearby source in a bucket and use it to fill the hole.
Before tilling and adding the water, make sure that the piece of land has air above and there’s enough light.
Now, equip pumpkin seeds and plant them over the area you’ve tilled. Leave the block adjacent to the seed empty as pumpkins in Minecraft do not grow above the seed. Instead, they spawn in the adjoining block.
Your pumpkin farm in Minecraft can be of any shape and size if it fulfills the aforementioned conditions. There should be water, air, and at least two blocks of space for every seed to grow.
An easy way to make a pumpkin farm is to make a 4-5 block hole in the ground and fill it with water. Till two blocks of land on both sides of the water blocks and put seeds in the ones near to the water.
Here’s what such a pumpkin farm would look like in the game:

The Apex Legends Season 14 update brought major changes to ring damage in the battle royale, which pro players are not too fond of.
Apex Legends pros have called the devs out for the Season 14 ring damage change, claiming that it “doesn’t feel right.”

Apex Legends Season 14 brought some major changes to the battle royale, not only in the form of balance changes but also quality of life options and a buff to zone damage.
For Season 14, the devs decided to increase the amount of damage players take in the first ring collapse, making it harder for players to withstand the zone, and forcing players to rotate earlier.
Apex Legends pros have had a lot to say about the Season 14 update, from sharing their opinions on Vantage to now being frustrated with the ring damage change.
The Apex Legends ring damage for round one increased from two to three damage in the Season 14 update, and professional player ImperialHal thinks “it doesn’t feel right.”
While on stream, ImperialHal stated that he has been playing the game since day one, and this change has made Apex feel “so f****** weird.” The pro goes on to say that he has been playing the game for three years and has never had to run from zone one until this change, claiming it is even preventing him from crafting off spawn.
ImperialHal isn’t the only one who feels this way either, as NRG’s Sweet also expressed similar opinions concerning the change, saying that his least favorite thing about the season is the “gas change.”
Sweet feels that the change is “too extreme even for f****** seasoned pros, and it kind of f**** with the pacing of the game too much.”
The Apex Legends pros do tend to influence changes to the game, especially for Ranked Leagues, as they are the ones who take it the most seriously. Perhaps Respawn will rethink this ring damage change according to the feedback.
