One car has flipped on its roof
A busy road in north Hull was earlier closed in both directions after an accident involving two vehicles.
One car was witnessed on its roof on the pavement by the side of the road following the crash in Ellerburn Avenue, close to the junction with 5th Avenue. Witnesses said the people involved appeared to be conscious and talking following the incident.
A witness said: "All people involved seemed okay I saw both people out of the vehicles, they were both awake and talking. They have been taken to hospital for observation."

Heavy traffic built up on surrounding roads due to the road closure. An earlier update from the traffic service Inrix stated: "Ellerburn Avenue in both directions closed, heavy traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved between 21st Avenue and 5th Avenue."
The accident was believed to have happened at around 10.30am. Emergency services were contacted for details and updates will appear in the blog below.
An inrix update states: "Ellerburn Avenue in both directions re-opened, traffic returned to normal, accident cleared between 27th Avenue and 5th Avenue."
According to Inrix, the road is still shut.
According to police officers at the scene, the incident did not result in any injuries.
